Remembering the days when I could just jump in the Jeep and drive 1600+ miles in 3 days just to wake up to views like this. I will certainly be doing more of that when this settles down.

In many ways, this time of quarantine is the darkness. It looks different for each and everyone of us for sure. At the first sign of darkness, it’s pretty easy to just set up camp where you are - but - it can also be so much more rewarding to put in the extra effort to wake up in a new magical place.
That “new place” also looks completely different for everyone. Mental, physical, spiritual, relational etc... So, where do you want to wake up tomorrow? #reflection

At face value, anyone driving through @DeathValleyNPS can easily write it off as a mountainous dessert. It’s so much more. I was continuously blown away by the many different textures and formations I came across. I look forward to planning an extensive trip back to the valley to explore more - once the current chaos subsides of course.
